Just south of Arthur, IL is the 200 Acres — home of the Great Pumpkin Patch, the Homestead Bakery and Homestead Seeds.
Every Fall for over 30 years, the Condill Family has welcomed over 50,000+ guests from around the world to see over 300 varieties of pumpkins, squash, and gourds as well as thousands of colorful mums all grown on their family farm – the 200 Acres.
It’s obvious the Condill Family loves what they do. It’s in their blood. They take great pride in providing a beautiful setting for their visitors to experience the harvest season and connect with the land and to one another. We love their authenticity, and share their desire to help create lasting memories for everyone that visits The 200 Acres.
In our time working with the Great Pumpkin Patch we have helped them grow their brand and their business into a fully immersive experience. Our collaboration, and their trust, have allowed us the opportunity to create their entire visual identity system including multiple sub-brands, staff apparel and merch, websites, digital marketing, food packaging, environmental signage and everything in between.
The Great Pumpkin Patch is more than just a place to buy pumpkins — it’s a destination to make memories…and eat cookies.
We started working with the Condill’s in 2007 when they approached us to help brand their new bakery as well as help them figure out how to balance that with their existing pumpkin patch. Our solution was to create the 200 Acres — a moniker for their family farm and an entity that would serve as the umbrella brand for the patch, the bakery and any other future endeavors.
The 200 Acres’ visual identity draws large influence from the history of the Arthur area, agriculture in the Midwest, the vibrant colors found in their produce, and the textural landscape of the farm.
