In 1994, the International Olympic Committee added the environment to sport and culture as the third principle of Olympism. As the first city to win the bid after the element was added, the Salt Lake Organizing Committee (SLOC) was committed to protecting and enhancing the environment while staging the 2002 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. To achieve this goal, the SLOC has established a number of programs aimed at environmental protection and improvement.

We had the great fortune to be named the agency of record for the environmental division of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

Hired by the Salt Lake Organizing Committee and the IOC, we created everything from broadcast PSAs and awareness campaigns, to permanent event signage, conference materials, and the recycle bins. In addition, all of the public relations communications for the environmental division.
